screw the compression tester into the spark plug hole. hold the throttle wide open and kick until the needle stops. good compression is usually between 120 and 130 psi.

Just an FYI, most testers aren't worth a crap. After testing the Blaster, try something else.
From what I've seen Craftsman is the lowest you want to go $$$ wise.

Tested today. 110 psi. 3 times on 2 different testers.. I also noticed Jets R Us jet kits don't use genuine jets
