k guys, i wanna get my carb cleaned and put back in before the nights over, i got everything unhooked except the cable that runs from the right side of the carb above the intake opening to the clutch cover...... how does that come off the carb????? got rusty from not messin with the blaster in a while, forgot.....

If you mean the oil injection line, then you pull back the brass ferrule with a small screwdriver and then pry off the line.

They can be a beggar to get off, but they are designed that way so they wont just fall off.

remove the oil injection line from the pump, not the carb. It's pressed into the carb and then swaged onto the fitting....

Once you get take the carburetor off and have broken the prime from the pump you will need to do some premix to run the engine for a little while, while you reprime that system.... Or just eliminate the system and run it on premix I:I I:I I:I

how do i get the injection hose back through the tiny rubber grommet that holds both the lines?????? what a b**ch

If you intend using premix at 32:1 as a stop gap until the oil pump primes itself and starts delivering oil to the carby, you need to increase the size of the main jet as the air fuel ratio will be gas lean.

Oil takes the place of fuel in the mix.

The correct way is to bleed the pump as described in the free manual.
