might be tors, mine did that and i removed it and it started first kick
Sounds to me you need a new stator i got one i could sell you if it turns out to be that
It's easy to tell if it is the Tors. Take the front hood cover off unplug the tors switch and if the bike starts its one of the three switches in the tors system the tors switch itself or the one on the thumb throttle housing or the switch on the carb you will need a ohm meter to check the switches on the thumb throttle and on the carb.
Check for broken wires, loose connections, bad ground, loose flywheel, bad switches. Why throw parts at it if you don't know which one to throw.
