High,

The good thing about having a 17 year old son is u always have a riding buddy.

the bad thing is that sometime they work on their mom's bike while you are at work.

So...
it quit starting so he took off the start/light button and pulled out the wires.

I am pretty sure this is beyond our skill level but I am going to try.


soooo.... does anyone know where to get a wiring diagram in pdf form?

I am pretty sure that is the last intelligent question I have

Try the search function.it work's well.maybe post the year.some of the wiring is different from 2003 and up i believe.

You don't need the stop/start button or the key switch to start the engine, you need one or the other to stop it
both switches are used to ground out the ignition circuit to kill the engine.
both are just 2 wire circuits connecting the black/white stripe wire to the black ground wire.
