Hi i have a 2002 blaster with a fmf racing exhaust and a larger mikuni carb, recently while i was drag racing, I noticed that my bike has a flat spot in 3rd and 4rth gear. What i mean by this is that as i change into one of those gears my bike has absolutly no power and it sounds like its just sucking in air. it then refuses to accelerate and i have to release my throttle before accelerating again. What might be the cause of this problem?

it's not so much what gear you're in, but what throttle position and rpm's ?
could be a lean/rich condition of the needle or main, try moving the needle clip position both directions from it's current position,
have you plug chopped the main jet ?
has it been leakdown tested ?
what carb ?
