I need to measure my wear and figure what size to bore to. My question is say if i want .30 over How much bigger is the sleeve supposed to be than the piston? I'm thinking around 2-3 thousandths.

Best thing to do is take it to the shop and let them see how much they think they need to bore, if any, and then order the size piston they think you need. You might just get by with a hone job and not have to bore.
I definitely need a bore. I forgot to put the wrist pin clips a dumb move. I ran it only about 5 minutes and it put a good mark in it. I will take it apart tomorrow after I ride, and figure the size I need with a dial gauge and bore gauge. I know what all needs done, was just curious on how much bigger the sleeve is bored over a piston. I just wonder if forged can have a tighter tolerance compared to stock or not.
What I was told to do it buy the piston and take the piston and cylender and they will match the cylender to the piston
