Dissipating Tranny Heat??

Started new thread in regards to Phragle's comments on the clear clutch cover thread about dissipating heat in the tranny. Is this an issue for most or just for people who race with highly modded engines?? I change the tranny fluid regularly but don't want to be hurting the tranny if I overheat the fluid and don't change it on time. One of my other hobbies is beating the snot out of jeeps offroad and keeping the auto trannies cool is key to making them last forever....and it's easy to do. Just don't want to be overheating the tranny in the blaster adn killing it prematurely!!

ive never heard of tranny heat being a isssue with a blasty, not sure what u could even do about it if it was.. rig some sort of a small pump with a cooler i guess??

phragle is talkin about running his beast in the baja 1000, and he may have experienced some heat issues there in 100+ degree heat for hours and hours on end.
this isnt an isuue for even the heaviest of mx/trail/drag guys on here
