im sure there is a thread like this somewhere but I couldn’t find one. I just put in new clutch plates, cable and perch/ lever. I bought this blaster used and rebuilt the whole motor so I haven’t actually rode it yet, but it starts.. everytime I put everything back together it works fine in neutral, but then the clutch binds and feels like neutral is in gear so I can’t even start it now.. I’m guessing it’s an adjustment with the screw/ nut on the face of the clutch, I think maybe I turned it in a little after just feeling a grab.. it didn’t do this before the new plates (I soaked them in atf for 24 hours).. any recommendations I’m very confused

I took the clutch plates off and the center hub spins even in neutral, what does that mean?

Not sure if anyone will read this in time, but I figured out it was something in the transmission so I split the cases again.. everything seems fine is there any videos out there on assembling the transmission the right way, just want to make sure it’s right

Thanks for the reply, I actually found what was wrong in the transmission. One of the shift forks was messed up, thankfully it didn’t do any damage. Replaced it and it ran great through all the gears so it’s getting it’s very first real ride tomorrow, it’ll be my first time riding a blaster
