checking squish

Trying to check squish before the cylinder goes off to ken and the 1/8 solder won't smash at all. What does it mean?

Are you sure your solder is the real soft core type?? If it is your solder might be smaller than the squish dimension itself??

It is soft solder but the piston doesn't touch it. What does it mean.

If your solder is the right kind and its at the outer edge of the squish band area and your not touching than your squish is way to big. Make sure its reaching the squish area at the very outer area of the piston. I as well had to give Ken my dimensions but my solder was compressed enough to give him a dimension.

been trying all day and no luck. is it possible to have more than 1/8 of an inch.
