blaster acting stupid

so i got a new crank and piston rings. so when i kick my bike it doesnt have compression and then it builds up then starts up. what can this be

take it back apart and look at it...did you do a compression check...if you dont have compression then something is wrong with your rings

maybe your head gasket?Your best bet its to pull the topend and take a look,since you just put it back together you probibly be able to save the base gasket.Your head gasket will need replaced if you pull that.
