Are the Hot Rods bearings and seal kit good??

Have everything to put the Blaster engine back together other than the seals and bearings..Found a Hot Rods kit that comes with seals and bearings so wanna know if its a good set before buying them...Thanks in adv,Lon..

Well as for the bearings, i know Ken will only use Koyo brand bearings. or oem

But i have not had experience with them so maybe ken will chime in?

My Hotrods stroker crank came with Japanese bearings,not branded Koyo. Don't remember any name at all. I wasn't overly impressed by their crank seals.

I've used K&S seal kits on all my bikes with good success. No problems or complaints here with them.

And koyo or OEM bearings anytime I need to change them. A few more bucks is worth peace of mind.

Thanks guys and I bought a set of OEM Yamaha Blaster bearings....Now I need seals,whats a good brand but kinda cheap??

I used tusk seals without a problem. crank seals, clutch arm seal, shifter seal, kicker seal all good

I use hotrods bearings in my kx250 and kx 125 and I'm very pleased with them. when the time comes for a bottom end rebuild i'll probably use the hotrods in my blasty.
