55$ for a pair of 14.75 gas front shocks Pretty good deal I know the eyelids are a lot thinner but if I use spacers to hold them without banging around. Has onyome had any luck with these ? Screenshot_20181231-161611_eBay.jpg

    Wow !!!
50% off on poop. If I had a dollar for every pic of these shocks bent on Banshee HQ, I could buy a pair :D.

Quality doesn't cost it pays. Good used works start at $100+ , new Elkas or FLOATS are about $500+. Banshee and Warrior are same length. Stock Banshee are said to be better than Blaster

These Chinese shock you talk about are pretty much the damn thing Elka sold me for 1000$ they sucked. You can read my post about them. I made Elka give me a refund.

The Chinese shocks are nowhere near the same as the Elka shocks! That's a insult to the French shock company!

I really ain't talkin bout Elka's. I'm talkin bout Legacy shocks, allegedly by Elka. About the only thing that makes them elka's is the sticker and the fact that Elka bought them from a importer and then passes them off on us...Hey, it's "buyer beware"...

You should be saying wtf to Elka? and you should be thanking me for giving everyone here a headsup. I haven't tried the regular Elka's but, after my experience with the Legacy shocks I won't give Elka another chance to get my money and screw me over again.

The Elka Legacy shocks are basically Elkas older design steel body shock!

    Hense the name LEGACY!

Definition for LEGACY. Anything handed down from the past from an ancestor or predecessor?

Here is a pic, on the left is the new style of Elka stage 4. On the right is the old style Elka stage 4. See how the old style looks a lot like the Legacy shock! I used stag 4 shock for the pic because I could not find a pic of the old style stage 3 shock. The Legacy shock is closer to a stage 2-3?

Truth be told bro, they STILL SUCK!!! And elka only offers you really heavy springs!!!! Who knows how good or bad the valving was because I couldn't even compress the damn shocks & springs when they were mounted. If by chance they are not imports, it doesn't really matter. What matters is how they function.

FYI: The company’s name is now Werx, they have new owners.
As far as finding them for $100? Good luck with that. At that price range they’re usually clapped out.

I figured it was the same company. Are they good to go still? I’ve heard the original guy passed away and it’s in new hands.
