2003 Blaster Oil Injection Question

Hello all.....just bought a 2003 blaster for my wife and am wondering...

I know all about the oil injection block off which I might end up doing but for now I will leave it as is so my question is...

When the bike starts up the light is on...but when you rev the motor or start to ride it goes out until stopped again..

Is this normal? Thanks guys.

I guess no one knows...but I will tell you that I filled up the oil all the way full and that helped. Light doesnt come on anymore other than on startup. Resevoir wasnt even lower than half so I guess I will just always keep it completely full.

Never ridden a blaster w the oil pump still in it. I remember when my brother was still using the pump his light came on just during start up and then off.

the light should really only come on when the oil level is low, and at startup. usually keeping the oil jug full keeps you on the ok. if it gets below the level indicator (which you pull out to fill up the jug) the light will come on.
