03 tors eliminator kit

I have a 2003 yamaha blaster with a motion pro tors eliminator kit installed but I am not sure which wires to connect together. The kit came with instructions but they are very confusing. Also some times when I get up in 6th it starts to shut off could this be the wireing for the tors I have the idle and cable installed I just don't understand the wiring

splice the paired set of black and yellow/black stripe wires together coming out of the cdi and at the carb

Could you have disturbed the float level setting when you had the carb apart?
