ok, so i finally got around to gettin the rear shock in that i got last year to upgrade the blasty. if i remember right it was out of a honda 450r with an external rezy (i looked it up on google and the pix look like the one i got) and fits in perfect with some mods to bolts n some bushings. but...

yeah, they not tight like they should be, that why i had picked up the other reeds when i got the option. they look like a solid piece that is tight to the cage except for the little petals which as you can see is not tight

as the title says, i was wondering what the diffrence is between these two sets of reeds. the dark colored ones are the ones that came off the bike, and the light colored ones are off the new jug i got..

as the title says, i was wondering if the front hubs from a 2003 and newer blaster will fit on my 1990's spindles, looking for a cheap way of upgrading the front brakes to hydros and i haven't been able to find much of anything.....

i don't know bout anyone else, but i found that goggles made for snowboarders work wonders for not fogging up, i can walk in and out of gas stations while out riding and they don't get a hint of fog

looks like a knock-off or hybrid of some kind. blasters are a 6 speed, and that don't look like a blasty motor in the pic....

i was thinking some of the same things. i was also thinking that some pictures of these shocks mounted and what exact modafications were done to make them fit would help some people. i know i think pictures of how to do things is easier to understand than a write-up on it.

well i got lucky, went to a ma n pop type shop that i go to with odd things n trust, and they had a cylinder sittin on the shelf that only had one bore done on it and in perfectly good condition n even with good reeds that i need too, and for cheap. expecially when he looked up the price of a...

so i found a shop that isn't a bunch of dummies when it comes to atv cylinders. but come to find out the cylinder was on it's last bore when i had it let go, so now i gotta get a new one or find someone to resleave this one, but i don't know anyone to resleave, and all the cylinders on flebay...

they been sayin it just yamaha in genural does that to their cylinders

been lookin around to eather bore out my cylinder or if i have to replace it compleatly. almost every engine place i been to round here say they can't bore it out because yamaha Nikasil plates them. is this true?

i'll have to look into it, i have not heard anything bad bout them. i also probly need new rod bearings too.... i'm kinda thinkin that where ever i would take/ship it i would probly have to send the whole motor cuz even tho i do most of my own work i haven't done a motor that far and don't want...
