If you are going to work on the crank too DO NOT try to cut corners.... you will end up paying 3 times as much! Those crank seals will need to be replaced or you will get an air leak that will fry your new motor, & you'll have to start all over again. :o
You guys are being way too sympathetic, I'd show Mr. bomber how to have fun with explosives one firecracker at a time. Then let the victims & families piss on whats left of the carcass before it gets fed to the ants, birds & possums. X(
Check the balancer drive gear, they are two piece and can loosen up over time and rattle... ( mine did, peaned the pins on the carrier to tighten it up & it wasn't as noisy ) REMOVE GEAR FROM ENGINE TO DO THIS!!! lol
