    Was riding the blaster yesterday an all a sudden stalled an wouldnt fire up. Got it home and checked for spark and no spark. So I ohm tested the stator. White red seems fine yellow red seems fine but te black red reads nothing. This mean my stator needs replacing?

    Yeh I have got the measurement. It was 17 mm roughly. Kinda hard to site it perfectly. I think I have it pretty close though. I had a 50 and it was too small. I tried 55 and it idled highest less than half a turn. I tried a 60 and doesn't seem much better IMO.

    It says dont let the float depress the spring loaded float needle. Mine has no spring.

    damn i need a micrometer or something to measure the float bowl. i was gonna buy one but way 45.00+ tax for something i may use just a few times.

    there is a youtube video online on how to calibrate the torque wrench and he used weights too but also had a few math formuals to precisely calibrate the wrench.. i also dont have another torque wrench to try it against

    i think i may have torqued my head too tight. i bought a torque wrench from my local auto parts store for cheap. the only one they had that wasnt the size of your leg only reads in inch pounds. i torqued them at 20 ft lbs. after doing so i was curious how accurate it was. so i set up the torque...

    man i dont wanna sue, i just want my sheet right. good thing my compression was to high or i would have never knew there is metal in my topend. but i just dont understand how he could have f'd up my head mod from the start, he had the entire engine. oh well it is what it is :(

    i dont have all the special tools to split the cases, i cant afford to send it off again. i can take the jug and head off but thats as far as i can go.
