Any one ever use Athena gaskets??? I can get a complete engine gasket and seal kit for about 60 bucks. Theres alot of no-brand gaskets on ebay also for cheap.

Turn gas and key on, hold clutch in neutral, no choke in summer, usually one kick does the job.

Well, there are no a/m cranks, so im gonna have it rebuilt at the local shop for 190 bucks. Ouch. Are cometic gaskets any good? cause oem gaskets for this bike are outragous.

That should be a NGK b8es or br8es , was that a typo^^^ ????? Stick with NGK, they are prefered by most.

One more question, did you guys put grease on the foam where it seals to the airbox??? I dont see how it would seal very well being just foam.

I just got my new UNI filter today to replace my K&N. I still need to get oil for it but i was wondering if it will change much, like, will i have to change jetting? At most i would think it would breathe harder compared to the K&N causing it to be alittle richer but i dont know. What you guys...

It'll be about 120 for the piston kit, wiseco that is, and a bore job is roughly 60 bucks. You'll have to have the bore measured to find out what size piston to get. edit: oh shoot i didnt notice you had a bbk, scratch that ^

I bought an OEM coupler, their rubber with what looks like a kevlar lining on the inside. I think it'll last many many years.
