Changing Filters

I just got my new UNI filter today to replace my K&N. I still need to get oil for it but i was wondering if it will change much, like, will i have to change jetting? At most i would think it would breathe harder compared to the K&N causing it to be alittle richer but i dont know. What you guys think? I also got an outerwears for it.

i could see it running a tiny bit richer but i doubt u would be able to tell the difference, i didnt when i ditched my k&n

One more question, did you guys put grease on the foam where it seals to the airbox??? I dont see how it would seal very well being just foam.

I greased the hell out of it with PJ1.

thats the only way i know of to seal it up...

yeah you will feel a difference......you wont have to worry about tiny particles getting past your rilter anymore so you will be able to pay more attention to your riding and worry less about blowing up!

I'm sure there is not a lot of difference between oils, but I did use uni oil and grease on my uni filter, but thats just the way I am.

i used 4 year old K&N oil on my UNI filter and havent had any issues
