    emissions is why they swtiched, couldnt refine the dirty 7.3 powerhouse to standards. the 04+ 6.0s were great engines along with the 6.4 and their new in-house 6.7

    actually if you unplug it at the carb and at the "brain" box under the hood it is just like deleting it. did it to my 98 and works beautifly

    and thank you guys for all the input i posted the problem then went and looked at it in my garage and when i came back to post nevermind i figured it out there was already multiple responses. just showing how helpful everyone is on here, thanks guys

    turns out it was the tors unplugged and now it runs perfectly i figured it coulnt be the carbs cause it was fine last time and its idled perfectly and could gfet higher revs if i flutter it and my yamaha snowmobile had the same prolem a week ago with the tors so i fgured id check that first and...

    my blaster wont rev any higher than idle. i can flutter it a bit to a little higher rpm but anytime i push the throttle in it dies. it ran fine last time i had it out about 3 weeks ago and now it doesnt seem to want to.

    i just didnt put a helmet on i was putting around the yard, day i got the thing. i always were one when im riding for any amount of time or were i havent been or i know dangerous, and not sure on the silencer, came on it doesnt look custom fitted either so idk

    haha sorry i read that again and didnt make much sense, but in the winter it will run leaner so more back pressure would be a bad thing would it? just make it run richer
