hey fellas back to pick some brains, as a fellow do it yourself kinda guy I have more questions with the help of a couple ppl I'm getting close to finishing my rebuild on my first ever atv 99 blaster lol long story short I'm working on front suspension now and I noticed upper a arm has a ton of play in it and I don't know exactly how to tell if ball joints are done or not so what's the easiest way I can determine this

Look back where the a arm is bolted in the frame. kind of look there, and rock the tire. The bushings go bad there.

Only other thing would be the wheel bearings. Maybe a be a combination of both.

Thanks guys I wI'll be doing that soon I'm already about to put new bushings in just want to check these too... my work in progress fellas

So I can do the bushings without having to take the a arms completely off can I just do uppers and reinstall do lower and reinstall or do I need to pull both completely off

Easier to put front of frame on wood blocks and remove the shock on whatever side you are doing. Then you can swing the arms out of the way to put new bushings in. Stock ball joint are not replaceable and if there bad you will need a new a-arm or a-arms.

Figure that I jacked her up today didn't have a lot of play in the ball joints however I did. Notice I need a left side wheel bearing has a bad snag no free spin so imma just change both
