Prime's build

Well, here you are. A painted frame! Finally!

I meant to get these pics up yesterday but I was pretty busy working on pretty much everything. So here's pics!

lookin good, nice color choice !!!!!

lol overspray happens AJ...it looks fantastic though. Remember, I have 3 colors I will be powdering saturday..so if needs anything done, I should be able to have it all done in about 30 minutes, powdered and ready to go home with you.

Thanks for the compliments guys. It is curing right now. Yamaha28, to answer your question, i used a spray gun.

I'm curious to see how this color will look like dressed up. Looking at the frame alone makes you think "holy s*** that's blue!"

Good news, got my reed spacer in and the carb does fit now. I was a little worried it would still hit the clutch arm even with the spacer.

Here's my progress for today.

I figured out the fitment of my trx450r rear shock is scary tight. There are only thousandths of an inch between the frame and the rezzie. Might be that honda made slight changes between the '04-'07 shocks and the '08-present shocks? Mine is off an '09.

Got the motor in and the rear end together before I had to leave.

I am going to check out the bars tomorrow because I know awk and slick had troubles with their fat bars and the mounting of the brakes. Hopefully I won't have to cut my throttle housing but we'll see.

If you don't have at least 9" from bar end to bend, you will be trimming!

HA! I got the tie rods and upper a-arms coated gloss black tonight before running out of time outside. I am going to finish up the lowers and take some pictures of the set tomorrow!
