How To Re-Pack Your Silencer (w/ Steel Wool)

the stainless ones may work better, but the real name of this thread should be......

"how to repack your silencer with steel wool, then as it rusts/burns and falls apart, suck steel wool back into your cylinder while it scavenges from the pipe"

might as well use steel wool for the air filter too, who cares if it ends up in your cylinder, it's cheap enough, and so are pistons and bore jobs

spend the damn $7 and get some real silencer packing
thats what i paid on ebay for a whole pack of FMF packing
enuf to do the silencer multiple times

I just packed both of my blasters silencers using the multi pack i didnt shred them and i packed them in tight and layered it from from to coarse and back.

The FMF was soaked but all still there but the DG was a wreck inside and there wasnt hardly jack sh*t for packing left in it.

I have acess to some stainless scrubber pads, way more coarse than steel wool, would it make silencer too loud?

:D Way funny. I did end up useing them for Larry's Banshee. I:I Used 6 or 7 per can, not too loud but nice tone in FMF cans. I don't think I would use steel wool because of various resons pointed out.
