The voltage regulator went on my race quad and i think it could be gone because it wouldnt rev but then i disconected the wire it ran fine again, what is causing the regulator to go like this? Do i need a new stater?

i was out on my race quad and i keep on experiencing what i think is clutch slip :-/. I only felt it coming out of corners in 3rd or higher but in the straights from 4th gear to 6 gear the revs build hi but it don't power off like it should. will banshee clutch springs or any springs of a bike...
DO NOT REMOVE THE TORS FROM YOUR QUAD !!! i was at a mx track and the tors was removed form my quad. The throttle stuck open as i was going over a jump and just about landed :o i couldnt kill the quad so i went over the berm, throw a fence and down 15-20 feet!! i was ok and so was the quad...
i just got my stage 3 elkas back from the builder and i find the back shock too stiff even doe the shock is set at its softest. I think there not enough sag, so how much sag should i have for mx.(the rear shock is dual rate)
