WOW! 9 years on stock piston.

I bought my blaster for $800 almost a year ago. The kid i bought it from lied and told me that it has a new crank and blah blah blah. Anyways I have been driving the shi*t of it and the piston just gave out on me. There is no real point to this post I just thought it was cool I got nine years out of my stock top end. I just put in a Wiseco piston and she is running like a camp

i had 8 years on my '96 i bought brand new, sold it with the stock piston, clutch and oil injecttion still on it and runnin strong

no joke I no people with 88's with orginal topends its crazy how long they can go if they are treaded right

We have a Honda 350X thats never been apart & its been run to death by my 6 kids & everyone else over the years - tired but it don't smoke, starts with a couple kicks.

My daughters 96 blaster is still running the stock piston, going to need to be freshened up though, its very tired.
