I'm doing it the good ol' fashion way. Scraper and a lot if bud light!yuuuup, horrible experience !
firstly, go to home depot or your local tool rental center.......
then repeat these very famous words...."make my day" !!!!!
6 beers deep. There isn't enough Bud Light to make me think about tackleing that!
you cant put luwan on concrete tho, if it was on plywood subfloor than you put luwan and than all seams get skim coated before gluing down the vinyl. when it is on luwan it just pops up with your fingers, circular saw 4' easy to work with sections and pry up a little bit than get your fingers under there and just lift.... I love that, makes for easy money when you charge for a rip up and it takes you all of 20 mins to have the floor in the back of your truckMost installers of vinyl will put down a layer of luan (thin 1/4 inch plywood) to adhere it to. I set my circular saw to that depth plus the vinyl and start scoring the floor in long strips. Pull up the the underlayment and the vinyl all in one peace. I looks like you got it good and I am sure those Bud Lights were tasting good.
What are you replacing it with Fasthand? Ceramic tile? My brother went with ceramic tile in his entire house In west palm. He said it keeps the house cooler.
