So thanks everyone for this forum as I have gotten a lot more help here than ever imaginable however I’m stuck.

This is my first time working on a quad so please excuse my ignorance and lack of experience . I inherited a 2004 blaster that had caught fire. The damage wasn’t to bad so I ended up replacing gas tank, carburetor, throttle cable, all wiring and harness, ignition coil, etc.

I also installed the Tors eliminator.

I’m getting spark but I have no compression. Where do I go from here?

thanks again everyone. This forum is awesome

Have you actually done a compression test yet? Also do a leak down test.
Because of the gearing of the kicker they don’t feel like they have a lot, normally.
Before you start tearing it down power wash it.
Not knowing how bad the fire was, there is a possibility it caused the head nuts to loosen or even warped the head causing a leak.

Did this bike have comp before the fire?? The fire was probably caused by the lack of comp. The previous owner was maybe trying to start it and because of its underlining issue backfired through the carb and caused the fire? How did this turn out? Did you diag your issue?
