Hey all, I’m in dire need of help. So I recently rebuilt this engine and I sheared a brand new woodruff key, thought maybe I just installed it wrong but now it seems it doesn’t fit right. This is a Yamaha woodruff key, in a brand new wiseco crank shaft. It won’t let me upload pics but it barely sticks up above the slot, probably less than a 1/16th of an inch. It seems way to small and would hardly grab the fly wheel hence why my last one probably sheared.. I went to ace hardware and got a slightly larger one but it’s to wide to fit into the hole. Really need to figure this out soon as we are hopefully going riding Monday lol.
