wont start after the rebuild

i just rebuilt my motor 70over piston p and p had the head milled i have a ptr pipe pod filter gets good spark will start up like ever 10th time trying to push start it but then it will just die

check reeds

make sure gas is getting to the cylinder

Try without the airfilter on, and then try with it even more restricted (an easy way to lean out and richen up the mixture just to get a quick idea). Did you richen up the main to account for your mods?? Hopefully you're doing this with brand new high-octane gas too. Old gas trying to start up a new ported motor with a shaved head is going to just make your life harder than it really has to be.

If it is firing on occasion, that tells you that the air/fuel mixture is way off for some reason.
