ok guys got it running turns out new stator had a bad coil I put the stator off my running bike and it fired up like a champ running good and strong. I tested the coils on the new one and the ignition coil is shot so the new coil will be here soon. Thanks for all the help guys

awesome man! glad you got it figured out. I have a rickys stator on my quad. dreading the day it dies. they aren't the most reliable stators. oem is better

yeah i'm seeing that now i would definitely say it would be worth spending the extra money to buy the oem.
