Wondering why

Last week i removed the oil injection system, and started mixing my own fuel,

and i noticed that it smokes more now, not that it is a problem cause i like the smoke lol but factory mix is suppose to be 20/1 and im mixing 5 oz of yahama lube to a gallon, so that should be 24/1 so why would it be smoking more now with supposly less oil

i think factory is 40/1

4oz to a gallon is 32:1 ratio of mix. Almost all would reommend 32:1. Factory runs what they run because they detuned the blaster as it was intended for a younger crowd. 32:1 will give you the perfect mix of proper lubrication and still make good power.
