IIRC the 400ex has same or nearly same geometry as the 250r, which is what all other quads are measured against in terms of suspension . Must have felt the added weight was worth better handleing. Look at the "rake" of the frame compared to Blaster. Wasn't until the yfz 450r/x came out that Yammy finally added more rake. Compare the yfz to the yfz-r, you'll see what I mean. There's a reason guys paid 6Gs for a 250r/Banshee outlaw.
 
The 400ex/blaster hybrid I can see maybe getting his price, the blaster no way. What this guy is doing is he is thinking the parts on the bike make it more valuable. So until he realizes that all the aftermarket won't change the value of the bike he won't be able to sell it
