hi im new to blasters and i cant really tell if im going to have to step up my jet size? i have a 2006 yamaha blaster with a k&n air filter im planing on taking of the air box lid along with adding a full FMF SST system on the bike other than this the bike is stock aside from some holeshot mxr6 tires... any help is appreciated... :) also i want to use either a dynojet kit or FMF jet kit... thanks...

go to a website like rockymountainatv.com or jetsrus.com and buy jets individually jet kits are bs.

Get 280 290 300, go up one size on pilot, needle clip middle posistion, 1.5 turns on air screw should be good to start. Might also check with FMF they might give a start point.

Read up on what/how to jet so you will know what is happening. Start rich and work down, plugs are cheaper than pistons.

Also clean the carb real good and blow ALL passages out. Make sure your air filter is clean and properly oiled.
