what bore?

So i took my blaster to a shop to get it bored out,and the man said hed bore it 40 thousands over,what does this mean?

You need a piston for .040 over (67mm I believe). He is redrilling the cylinder to a larger size because the size down (Probably .030 over) is too beat up to use. By redrilling, you get a nice, fresh start.

He will need the next size up piston that you are going to use so he can bore and hone it to the correct size.

The right way to bore the cylinder is to get the piston first then have the cylinder bored to match the piston with the right clearance

what cc would it be,i dont think it would still be 195cc? be like 210cc or what?

I believe a .040 puts you at like.. 197cc. Still less than the rated 200.

Sorry to be a downer man... Actually there have been many people who report that by boring out their engine they could feel a power difference but I suspect that it much more to do with those tired, 10 year old rings that were in it before versus those fresh new ones after the bore job.
