Recently got a mint 2005 blaster on a trade. Needed a top end I got it rebuilt and it’s starting and idling perfect I did my heat cycles and what not. Now I’m starting to play with main jets. It’s just stock everything except Vito’s reed cage and carbon reeds and a fmf fatty and powercore 2. I also deleted the tors and oil injection system. I am struggling to decide if I want to run the stock airbox or run just a clamp on k&n style before I starting playing with the main jet. Was just wondering what the most common set up everyone runs.

Stick with the stock airbox, maybe just the lid off = 1 to 2 sizes larger main jet and an airscrew adjustment.
you jetting 270 to 310 main for the FMF setup ?
start large and plug chop down

X-2 on stock air box ! Get a QUALITY aftermarket foam filter. Uni, or No-Toil, etc.
Clamp on filters have a weird effect on blasters, eradic tuning. Maybe filter is to short?
