Now I don't know if the vforce 4 are the same way however if you purchase vforce reed cage YOU HAVE TO MODIFY the stock intake boot to fit them. Easy to do just cutting off the rubber piece that sticks out, but it has to be done!

it does not appear that it will need "modded" for any intake.............

the only reason slick and I modded ours was to fit the worng pro design intake, none of the vf models NEED any alteration, except for that model pro design intake.
the stock cage does need the rubber piece cut off, it's an easy 5 minute job outlined in the factory directions

yes,
but that rubber air deflector will still need cut from the stock intake

Any of the Vforce models do not need any modifications to the part. The part that needs modified is your stock intake boot, I don't have a pic of one but if you take the boot off, and flip it over you will see a protrusion of rubber that needs removed.
