ok the torsion spring on the clutch lever assy. is my prob. The "notch" on the motor case where the end of the spring hooks is broke off. so the spring just spins all the way to the side. Thus it has no tension to pull back the lever. I cut a piece off and bent it so it would catch further up. It has tension now and lots of it. I haven't put the motor back in yet (still got some other things to do) but I'm anxious to see if it works. Has anyone else ever had this problem if so what did you do?
