Hey guys. I want to buy a tether for my quad so I can race. My question: Is the blaster circut normally open or normally closed? Anything advise would be great.

normally closed in the off position,
the closed contacts connect the black to black/white stripe wire, shorts out the ignition, killing the engine
switching it to on opens the circut and allows the engine to start.

I'm not sure how they rate those, is normally open with the pull cord thingy in or not ?

i'd just buy one listed as for a blaster
