i mounted mine to my handle bars near the bottom and i just hooked it up to my riding pants some people attach it to there wrists. ive seen people attach it to the frame near the gas tank on the side. seems like it would stretch too much.

most people stick them on the bottom of there bars that way its close and out of the way i would think down by ur tank or legs wouldnt be very good just my opinion
