Swing arm skid plate

This is what happens to the Alum skid plates. There is not enough material above the bolt for Alum to survive!

reinforce a stock one. ask the people who ride in rocky areas, they know whats up

amiright @Awk08 ?

a few years ago I had a pile of destroyed stock skids beside my garage 15 deep.
the only aluminum one I had in recent years only lasted 2 rides.
I haven't ran one at all for the last 2 seasons and only bent one brake disc, so i figure a used brake disc here or there is cheaper than used skid plates once a month.
they also ruin chains when they get bent up and the chain rides on and cuts into them.

Yup, I've been riding in some rocky areas and bend the stock one bad. Unbolted it and bent it back on a friends press. Just looking for an alternative. How do you reinforce the stock one?
