Stripped/knackered case thread

Bit of a Problem, need advice. I have sheared a stud that holds the cylinder on to the case, The other 3 came out easy as pie. i have drilled the stud out to 7mm but it is too rough to put a reliable m8 thread in. X( X( X(

so would this stud work as a repair if i drilled it and ream it to 8.5mm then tap it to an m10 ??

Stud, exhaust port oversize (M8/M10 x 38mm) -- n0144832, n01-448-32 -- Volkswagen part from VW Heritage

I dont want to helicoil it as the coefficient of thermal expansion may cause the helicoil to vibrate loose, i appreciate your input on this guys

Providing there is enough meat left in the case, that should work well.

Does anyone know the Yamaha part number for the studs to connect the cylinder and cases ?
