not really, the sand is heavy on the engine. i say a 14 is still better.

the rear is stock 40 im goin with 14 ty all im buying alot of stuff

I would go 14-40 for normal riding even in sand. I am running hte same combo and it does great except in suction mud but then the only thing that matters is ground clearance and 4x4 which I dont have running holeshots...
