Shifting Problem

I recently bought a 04 blaster and it seems to run great only problem i have is it smashes into 1st gear really hard another problem is getting it into first every gear is fine its just trying to drop it back down into 1st it takes like 4 or 5 pushes amy help?

Sounds like a bent or worn shift fork. Unfortunately it requires splitting the cases.

should this be something i need to worry about and fix immediately or can i ride it out for the summer and fix it in winter

 

[Tooloose]

The shift shaft is bent probably, which moves the selector fork inside the tranny. You must split the cases to remove it. It can be straightened sometimes! Wish you luck Peace
