I was riding my 2002 blaster I was riding in 6th when the tires locked up the motor stopped and it came to a stop I tried to kick it over and the kick start wouldn’t budge so I kicked it as hard as I could and it turned over I kicked it 3 more times and it started right up but sounded wired so I drove it home in first through third and parked it I went out there 2 days later and kicked it over and it started on the first kick and sounded fine I have a new top end for it and I was gonna put it in anyway I’m just wondering if anyone had any ideas as to why this happened what caused it and how to prevent it

leakdown test it to see if an airleak overheated and seized it, then freed up once it cooled down.
if it has an airleak now that same airleak could fry your new topend
