I’m sure you guys have read and answered this a million times... I just did a fresh top end rebuild. I bought this blaster from someone online and the motor blew, I’m assuming it was running to lean.

After my build I fouled 2 plugs, after asking around my friend said just take the lid off the airbox and leave it alone but I want to go trail riding and mudding!
It’s running a 270 main jet
K&n filter
1 1/2 turns out
When the lid is on it falls on it’s face not wanting to run full throttle, take the lid and it rips! I have an fmf gold series full exhaust, that’s the only mods I’m aware of. What should I do

170 main in the stock mikuni carb ?

What’s your elevation? FMF jetting specs are for sea level @ 70*F, stock filter

Go to their website and see what they call for.
Make sure filter is clean and not too much oil

Not sure elevation I guess I’ll have to google that but I scrubbed the air filter and applied a very lite coat of oil to it and had the same results
