What gear do you guys usually ride in on trails?

Also, do you think it's better for fuel economy to be in too low of a gear (high rpm, good throttle response) or too high of a gear (low rpm, slower to respond).

I wear a helmet, goggles, gloves, pants, mx boots, and a spine protector.

You should ride in the correct gear for the terrain, but generally, keeping the engine off the pipe, but not bogged out seems to give me the best range.

i wear helmet/goggles, pants sometimes a jersey or a wife beater depends on how hot it is.
and iv been tryna figure out how to get the best gas milage.
and doc speeder is right on.
if your on the pipe high rpms you guaranteed to chug the gas, and boggin it out is nto good to, fouling plugs etc

Helmet, Goggles, Gloves, Left wrist brace, Boots a must, shorts in the summer, vented jersey on the trails, t shirt or wife beater at Pismo Beach.
