i am trying to remove my rear shock to put new one on ive took bolt off top the bottom is not connected ive tried to hit the screw on top with hammer but im stuck i dont know wat else ta do let me kno if u can help

use a phillips head screwdriver, and hit it out with a hammer. should come right would.
just make sure you are hitting it the right direction.

i had a frame with nuthin on it but rear shock still on all i did was take bolt off top where is the weight at on it

yea i know lol i wasnt thinkin at first but yea i took the swing arm off its just the top of the shock i cant get that screw out

pb blaster and a bigger hammer!!!!
and definately have the frame on something, i've even strapped my grab bar to the ceiling, if not, when the bolt does come out, the top frame will drop and possibly pinch your arm/hand/fingers in between the frame and swinger

Take a flat ended punch tool stick it in until it stops against the bolt and take your hammer and tap it out but have some one lift it up by the grab bar or something. You can't hurt it and if you do bushings are like $3 a pair.
