rear carrier bearing ?

i replaced the bearings like 3 months ago .... and everythings been good aside from my chain comming loose every now and again and the axel union keeps comming loose .... but when i got on it today the non- chain side bearing has exploded and that axel union was almost off.... any ideas on why that may have happened ???? by the way all the imput from this site has been very helpfull

i locked up a bearing once on my '96, i guess it ruined the carrier housing/bearing race, cause it only lasted a few rides and did it again, a new carrier fixed that,
surely somone on here has a good stock carrier for sale, post a want ad

either thread lock the sh*t outta those axle nuts or get a aftermarket locking nut

my nuts lock them selves, we bent an axle wrench getting them off once, never hurts to check, oops i said my nuts, haha

I have an extra 2002 carrier bearing I'm not using. Dinwiddie,Va.
