I have a 99' blaster and I was wondering what some quick mods are? I was thinking about a smaller front sprocket but I don't know too much about sprockets. Also, does removing the airbox lid have a change that you can feel?

smaller front will give you more torque the larger the front sprocket the faster top speed. smaller rear give's you top speed and larger vise versa..
Removing airbox and adjusting jetting accordingly will give you a noticeable power gain. Not as much as a pipe, of course, but you will notice it, and it only cost a few bux for jets.
you may disagree but you can feel faster by upgrading your shocks just because you can handle the bumps better, improve your suspention befor your motor, as you can see i got a little in the motor and pipe and all that good stuff but i got a honda 400ex for my faster better handling quad. im not at all happy how this blaster handles, i need to spend as much on shocks as i did on the honda to make it ride as good or as fast as my honda. sorry blaster dudes. my ex with a pipe and K&N filter is 38 mph faster and can run the same trails 30mph faster just because it handles the same terrain alot better, upgrade your suspention you will be so much happier with your quad and you wont need 2 to ride different terrain.
