I recently blew my motor on my 98 blaster. I've been exploring my options when it comes to rebuilding and have been particularly interested in just buying a big bore kit instead. So what I need to know is if i were to invest in a big bore kit, say 210cc? What would I be looking at jetting wise, or would it be better to use a carb off of a dirt bike? And would i be able to keep the stock connecting rod and such? Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks.

The only big bore kit for the blaster is a 240.
The cheapest way to go is send your top end out to Ken Oconnor and have him bore it and match a new piston.

68mm is not big bore, big bores start at 71/72mm
that's a stock cylinder bored to almost it's limit, will not give much if any extra power
as mentioned above, having your stock cylinder bored, honed and ported w/ head mod will get ya white knuckled :)
